Twin Air, although a small company, did a great job installing our new replacement HVAC system. I gathered bids from 4 companies, 3 of which returned estimates without prompting, the fourth had to be prodded and took over 2 weeks. Twin Air was one of the three and although their proposal was not the lowest (only by a small amount), it was detailed and included a heat load calculation (used to correctly size the equipment). I felt no pressure at all during the sales pitch and answered every question in an honest and open manner. They proposed equipment that would maximize both Federal and State energy credit return without the need to install extremely expensive top-of-the-line equipment. The resulting system was a Lennox heat pump/gas furnace for emergency heat with 2 zone air distribution, UV sterilization, and steam humidifier, plus touch screen main level and wireless upstairs thermostats. The system has saved us approximately 40% per month in heating/cooling bills over the 9 months since it was installed. The installation was done in 1 day (it replaced a gas/standard AC builder’s spec unit) and the workmanship was superb. The company is owned by twins (hence the name) who did the installation along with a third person. The twins’ father is their sale representative. I would heartily recommend their business to anyone.

We went with this company because we had them come out for a service call last summer and they were outstanding.  Their tech was early and very knowledgeable.  He inspected the entire system and recommended adding freon to get the system cooling better and through the season.  He told us that the system was quite old and nearing the end of its service life which we already knew. It took two days to remove the old system and install new one.  They showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done.  They kept us informed throughout.  After the install, the touch screen thermostat developed a pixel line.  I called Twins and they came out the next day with a new thermostat to replace the bad one.  They followed up with us the following week to make sure all was well.  I would highly recommend them for any heating, air conditioning or insulation job.  Their service is outstanding.

Went with Twin Air because of their excellent customer service- from the first call, the first visit, follow up visit and to the actual install- I was really impressed. The staff – the twins, the dad, the young lady answering the phone– all were exceptionally cordial, pleasant, professional and prompt. It was so refreshing after months of poor service including one of the techs from another HVAC company that came out to look at the unit. My unit was about 20 years old and had been in stages of dying for years but finally went the first week I turned it on when the weather warmed up in May — absolutely the same time many other people found out their units were also dying so it took about two weeks for the install. I wish that the install could have been faster but I am not sure if that was a function of the general weather timing or the company or a combination but either way I was able to work and I understand different people have different senses of urgency. Fortunately I am in a condo and the weather cooled off a little so we purchased two portable units for upstairs until the install. The other company could have installed the week before but I did not like the techs bedside manner and I am quite tired of paying through the nose to people who have no idea what it means to treat a customer accordingly. I would definitely recommend them.

We woke up after a really nasty summer storm Saturday nighto find that our upstairs air conditioning unit wasn’t working.  We tried calling our home warranty service company only to be told that it would be 4 days before they could send someone out.  I then resorted to calling several local companies and got the same result.  Finally, my wife remembered a prior experience with Twin Air and suggested I give them a call.  To our surprise Jeremy, a co-owner, took our call and responded within 30 minutes.  He took the time to completely diagnose the problem and had our unit up and running in not time at all.  Not only did he make a Sunday house call, but it was on Father’s Day as well.  I highly recommend the services of this company, they are A+ in my book.

From start to finish excellent experience. Hands down the best value (quality vs. cost) offered in town. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. The installation crew was neat and craftsmanship was outstanding. Condensation pipes and wires that were sticking out around the old furnace and coil were tucked in and rerouted neatly around the new furnace resulting in a much neater looking mechanical room. I never even thought of asking them to do it, but the Twin Air crew just went ahead and did it!   After a month of living with it we absolutely love our new smart HVAC system and could not be happier with Twin Air. I recommend them in a heartbeat.

We suffered a failure of our boiler valve on our water heater. We engaged one service provider who was adamant that our entire tank needed to be replaced, quoting us $2,600 for the parts and installation. This of course necessitated a second opinion. We called Twin Air, with their Angie’s List coupon, expecting them to install a new tank for 45% of our initial quote. To our pleasant surprise, the servicing professional informed us that our tank was fine and that all that was needed was the replacement of the boiler valve. Hooray! Think of it: the technician knew we were ready for a full replacement but reduced his sale by 80% to get us just what we needed and no more. It was as if we had found plumbing professional in the ranks of our family! What a wonderful experience – and smart business sense. What they may have forgone in that particular call they picked up in a future business. We will certainly be calling Twin Air for our future plumbing needs.
